Busboys and Poets Searches for the Rising Stars of Prince George’s County in its Open Mic Talent Showcase June 15

Let’s state the obvious: Prince George’s County is full of talent.

From artists and poets to singers and actors, Prince George’s is a place where ideas converge and beauty explodes. And on Friday, June 15, that veritable skill will take the stage for the “LIVE! From Busboys” open mic talent showcase at Busboys and Poets, 5331 Baltimore Avenue, Suite 104 in Hyattsville.

Taking place from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m., Busboys and Poets’ events is open to performance disciplines of all types. Poets and spoken word artists, musicians, comedians, dancers, actors, illusionists, singers and the like are welcomed to get on stage and show off. The showcase will be hosted by Y’Anna Crawley, winner of BET’s Sunday’s Best. She will be backed by her live band.
