I am a writer – a journalist. I am a graphic designer. 2011 fellow for the Peter Jennings Project for Journalists & the Constitution. I am Italian. I am American. I am a child of two moms – I love my two moms and I am part of the LGBTQ community even if I am straight – I am not an ally, I am in it. I am a part of it. I am a sister, twice over. I am from Brooklyn, NY but live in Philadelphia. I am looking to relocate. I am spiritual realist, former Wiccan. I am tattooed. I am pierced. I am hoping to change the world with my words – or at least, one person’s world. I am hoping I can inspire someone to write, to create, to be themselves and to turn around and change someone else. I am a humanitarian. I am constantly looking for a moment, a purpose, a change in direction that will lead to something bigger, better, brighter…

But what I am, most of all, is someone who appreciates both the good and bad in people. I am someone who believes in balance, unity, connection. I am a person who believes that in order to be opposed to something, you need to understand it. I am a person who believes you cannot fight against something if you don’t know the facts because knowledge is the ultimate power…
