Annamarya is a Philadelphia-based freelance journalist and graphic designer who currently serves as editor of The Deli Philadelphia. She was also a 2011 Peter Jennings Project for Journalists & the Constitution fellow, and is the author of the poetry and prose collection "Destiny for a Tragedy." Her work has appeared on/in several online and print publications including RH Reality Check, Prince George's Suite, BLURT, Origivation (where she served as editor-in-chief from 2008-2010), Philadelphia City Paper, 24/Seven, Alternative Press' website (altpress.com), New York Woman, HotIndieNews.com and SexHerald.com (where she served as book editor in 2007). When it comes to human rights, Annamarya is passionate about sexual education, sex worker's rights, marriage equality, reproductive health, disability rights, breaking gender norms, mental health, and the Constitution.
