Alt-rockers Bedlight for Blue Eyes posted the new song, “Ms. Shapes,” from their latest record, Life on Life’s Terms, to their MySpace page. To hear the single, click here.

According to Trustkill Records’ website, Bedlight drummer Itzhak Bishburg explains that the song is one of the group’s more “lighthearted jams” that was inspired by the popular Misshapes party held in New York City, which they “go to often.” The drummer assures:

“It’s all joking around, gently mocking the Lower East Side hipster scene.”

The band is performing new tracks from the album, out on Trustkill Records, during their current tour with Tokyo Rose and Sound the Alarm. Bishburg says of Life on Life’s Terms:

“It’s great to see kids already knowing the words to songs at shows. We overcame so many obstacles to get the album out and for it to finally be finished is amazing, let alone the great fan reaction.”
