Alt-metal vets Deftones have recently announced the addition of a Canadian leg to their on-going world tour. The cross-Canadian trek will follow the United States portion of their tour and is set to begin on July 9 in Victoria, British Columbia, concluding on July 28 in Toronto Islands, Ontario, where Deftones will headline this year’s Wakestock World Series Festival. This will be a first, since the release of White Pony, that the band will headline its own Canadian tour.

Post-hardcore outfit From First to Last will join Deftones’ Canadian tour starting July 11 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

As a bonus, Deftones are giving fans the chance to vote on the set list for one of the three shows at Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC. After all votes are cast, Deftones will choose the 20 most popular songs to play in Vancouver. For more information, check out Deftones’ MySpace page.
