Prince George’s African American Museum & Cultural Center’s Unwind Wednesdays is Back Starting April 4
By Annamarya Scaccia
For some, Wednesdays may be a drag but, really, it’s the best day of the week. Not only does it mark the middle of the 9-to-5 work schedule, it’s also when Unwind Wednesdays takes place.
That’s right—Prince George’s African American Museum & Cultural Center’s always delightful free social event is back for 2012, taking place Wednesday, April 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at its Gallery 110 space, 3901 Rhode Island Avenue in Brentwood. Attendees looking to unwind after a stressful day at work can expect to enjoy some art, music, wine and bites, and work in a bit of networking at the event.
But, more importantly, event goers will learn more about Gallery 110’s new exhibition, Prince George’s African American Museum & Cultural Center’s history and programs, and how to become a member and supporter of the museum. This installment of Unwind Wednesdays is sponsored by Grooming by Em.
