Add a Splash of Color to Your Nights at the Ingrid Cowan Hass and Eva Kritt Artist Reception at New Deal Café August 5
By Annamarya Scaccia
Sometimes our nights need to be filled with more than the sweet smell of cherry-infused martinis and the pulsing bass of dance floor DJs.
Sometimes our nights can use a splash of bright colors and bottomless creativity. And on Sunday, August 5, nightlife partiers can get both during the artist reception for Ingrid Cowan Hass and Eva Kritt at the New Deal Café, 113 Centerway in Greenbelt.
The reception, which will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., will give patrons a chance to chat with Hass and Kritt about their remarkable work on display at the café from July 3-August 27. Hass, who hails from North Carolina but has lived in Greenbelt for 14 years, offers beautiful watercolors and block prints, titled “Summertime Tunes,” in New Deal Café’s back room, while Kritt, a Maryland Institute College of Art graduate, offers exquisite drawings based on figures and faces in the space’s front room.
