PGCC Faculty Show Off Their Skills at the 54th Annual Art Faculty Exhibition

Whoever came up with the old adage “Those who can’t do, teach” hasn’t seen the work put out by the faculty atPrince George’s Community College.
Just like their students, they are a talented bunch. And from October 1 to November 8, 28 faculty members will show you just how much during the PGCC’s 54th Annual Art Faculty Exhibition.
With more than 75 works on display, the annual showcase will feature ceramics, computer graphics, drawings, paintings, photographs and sculptures. The artwork will be on display in the college’s Marlboro Gallery at theLargocampus, located at301 Largo Road, Monday-Thursday from9 a.m.to8 p.m., and on Friday from9 a.m.to3 p.m.
“Prince George’s Community College faculty is dedicated to the art-making process as well as teaching,” said Thomas Berault, director of Marlboro Gallery, in a news release. “Each professor looks forward to this annual opportunity to share their passion for art with students, staff and the community.”
A public reception for the exhibition is scheduled October 18 from6 p.m.to8 p.m.
